Treatment

Above to the left is a mind map that we constructed of all our ideas that we would wish to incorporate into our final A2 project. On the right is our summarisation of our initial ideas. Unfortunately I was absent on the day the video was recorded and therefore was not able to participate in the video.

Setting

Props

Below are the pictures of the props that we used througout the music video. In total, there are 8. The reason we picked the majority of these is because they are considered everyday items that the audience can relate to and therefore be able to connect with the situations that the characters are shown in. This links directly to Dyers's Paradox 1, in which the artists of a video are made to seem ordinary, so the audience can consider them to be a part of their life and not something that is "unattainable". The most importantprop we used was the first prop. The note. This is because it sets the foundation for the events that take place throughout the rest of the video. The note creates a sense of suspense in the audience as they may wonder what it means or who it is from. The writing was carefully selected as it seems extremely feminine, due to the pink writing, the hugs and kisses below this and finally, the lipstick stain at the bottom.
