Animatic
To the left is our animatic that was created using iMovies. It shows the basic scenes that will happen during the shooting of our music video, it is a moving version of our storyboard. The animatic was created by Jonny on his laptop. We had to ensure that the music matched the pace of the storyboard so both were appropiate lengths. In addition to this, we had to make sure that the storyboard would fit into the song, otherwise there would be a lot of gaps in the video. The animatic made sure that we saw a physical, moving representation of what the video would look like.
To the right is our feedback video for the above animatic. We asked one girl (Denva) and one boy (Corie) to watch the animatic and give their opinions on the video. Jonny was the interviewer, myself and Josh created the questions and Rob filmed the interviews. We asked them questions regarding what dance they imagined us doing in the video, to suit the music. We also asked them if they liked the animatic, and if so, why? Finally, we asked the interviewees how they thought we could improve the animatic.
